Games: are they an innocuous pastime? A hobby for self-improvement? Or a quasi-sentient species of pleasure-excreting brain-leeches from just beyond human comprehension, salivating to warp our minds in ways even more powerful than DRUGS or PORNOGRAPHY? Why do we play games, and should we? What do they want from us? Who do they work for? Can we harness them as obedient beasts of burden before they enthrall us and turn everyone into hyper-effective homo-gladiators in the endless colosseum of the Ubernet? You should forget everything you know about games, except that's impossible, so just pretend that you forgot everything and let's go from there.
